Halloween’s almost here and that means, it’s party time! I’m super excited to be able to dress up in my favorite costume, eat as much candy as I want, (mom can’t say anything about it) and go to one of these super cool events with my family. Who’s ready to have some fun California Halloween Events For Kids?
California Halloween Events For Kids – Boo At The L.A. Zoo
Enjoy Halloween for 31 days straight at the L.A. Zoo. You can run around a corn stalk maze, a cave full of creepy crawlers, and enjoy spooky tales and ghoulish puppet shows that will give you the creeps. And if you show up on October 29 or 30, you can enjoy some early trick-or-treating. Time to overload on candy!
California Halloween Events For Kids – Mickey’s Halloween Party
Come to Disneyland in your costume and enjoy a monster mash of a party on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between 6-11 p.m., or on Friday from 7-midnight. You’ll get to see some amazing fireworks, dancing and you’ll even get to take photos with all your favorite Disney characters!
California Halloween Events For Kids – Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch
It’s fun, colorful, and full of adventures! After all, you have a whole Pumpkin Village to explore. You can also head down to the tunnels in the Straw maze, jump all day in the Jumpin Pumpkin or slide on down on Mr. Bone’s Super Slide.
California Halloween Events For Kids – Irvine Regional Park Pumpkin Patch
Pan for gold, decorate delicious cookies, ride a train, or have your face painted! There’s so much to see and do! And if you have time, you can ride the paddle boats in the lake or have a picnic with your family, just don’t forget to pack a few extra PB & J sandwiches for everyone!
California Halloween Events For Kids – Knotts Spooky Farm
Stop by the Ghost Town Treat Stops, grab a bag, and start ringing doorbells. You might even run into a few scary ghosts. Then have some fun at the Spooky Hallow Maze and make your way through the hay to avoid the headless horseman. He’s scary, but not reaaaally that spooky!
These look awesome! I don’t have children and being from the UK I’ve never experienced Halloween at the scale American’s celebrate it – I’d have loved how you guys celebrate it as a child, so much fun!
Boo at the zoo is fantastic. Although I’ve never been to the one in LA. I have been to other through the country.
Thanks for this fun list of Halloween-themed things to do. Sadly, I’m not in California, but I have friends who live in Cali, and I’ll let them know about it.

Those are amazing events! I bet it would be fun for kids and parents as well.
This list is awesome. I would love to be in California right now.
So much fun activities to enjoy with the family. I wish California was just a short drive away. 🙁
I don’t celebrate Halloween and no longer have kids at home. BUT …these events look great and would be a lot of fun! They’re definitely more appealing than just sending the kids out trick or treating, or to some of the really creepy/nasty events some places offer. I especially like the Disney and Spooky Farm events!
My girls love Halloween as much as mom and pop, I love the festivities, it looks so fun and the colors are great!! My daughter got a kick out of this post.
Those are great Halloween events! Great list and thanks for sharing.

wow love the pumpkin patch picture! I always run out of ideas for Halloween, but this list would be so handy this year. Can’t wait to share it! Thanks
I have a friend (adult friend, mind you) who simply hates Halloween as she’s really scared of horror stuff. I think these activities might just make the festival a little more acceptable for her!
This looks like fun! I love this blog. It is so cute!
I wish I was a kid again! These events look so much fun! We need some of these in Florida!
That’s really cool. If I lived in California I know I would go there even if I don’t have children, I love Halloween.
those events are wonderful, thanks for sharing, I totally need to tell my cousins about these
This looks like a fun event for kids. I’m surely, there are many kids looking forward on this.
From the sounds of it, seems like you may be enjoying these activities just as much as the kids!! Lol 😉 Don’t worry, I thoroughly enjoy being able to let my inner child out during this holiday as well, without having to worry about anyone saying anything! These look like some pretty great activities you have listed! Hope everyone has fun!
