Meet Reese (The Itty Bitty Baker)! Kid Entrepreneur and Owner of The Itty Bitty Bake Shop!
ABOUT REESE
Reese is a 10-year-old from Southern California! When she’s not baking she loves traveling around the world with her mom.
Her dream was to one day make it to the famous Ladurée Bakery in Paris, which she got to check off her bucket list this past summer. Reese’s favorite desserts are raspberry macarons, chocolate cupcakes, and chocolate chip cookies.
HOW REESE STARTED BAKING
Reese is no stranger to the kitchen and comes from a long line of bakers with both her Great-Great-Grandmother and Great Grandmothers both having owned successful bakeries and catering companies. As a matter of fact, many of her cookie recipes are family recipes that she has adapted into her own.
Reese’s love for baking started at 3 years old when she received her first easy bake oven. After quickly upgrading to a real oven and taking several baking classes, Reese launched The Itty Bitty Bake Shop.
HOW THE ITTY BITTY BAKE SHOP WAS BORN
The Itty Bitty Bake Shop started as an online Etsy bakery shipping cookies all over the United States. After a year on Etsy Reese moved into a commercial kitchen at the popular 4th Street Market/East End Kitchen, an incubator kitchen developed to guide home-based bakers and chefs into making the leap into commercial kitchen space.
While at 4th Street Market Reese developed her most popular selling cookie, the Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookie and sold over 600 dozen cookies in her first year. At age 6 Reese entered her cookies into the baking competition at the Orange County Fair and took home the blue ribbon.
During that time Reese also partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Orange County where she donated over 300 cupcakes for the Race for the Cure fundraiser.
The following year Reese partnered with Hollywood Swag Bag and the Beverly Hills Ritz-Carlton to provide over 200 cookies to the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Award Nominees.
In 2017 Reese’s love for baking and Pinterest lead her to launch her line of “Itty Bitty Baking Kits”. A subscription kit services of Pinterest inspired baking projects for kids shipped directly to your door. Reese hopes the launch of her baking kits will encourage more kids to learn to bake.
When Reese is not baking she enjoys spending time living the Hollywood dream as an actress. Reese has filmed several commercials and short films and would love to one day have her own show on the travel channel where she travels the world trying desserts and baking with famous pastry chefs.
Reese is available for collaborations in following niches: Travel, Food, Lifestyle, Education, Toy, and Beauty + Fashion
