Sure, I’m 8 years old, but I don’t always want to dress up like a Disney princess all the time. I like to switch it up, mix and match, and overall, have a BLAST with my outfits! Hey, rules are meant to be broken so here are my tips for choosing the perfect dress.
So whenever I’m having a tea party or getting ready to explore my hometown with my parents, I like to dress the part. Here are 4 super easy tricks to help you choose dresses that make you stand out from the crowd, (yes, even in elementary school!)
Tips For Choosing The Perfect Dress – Choose Pastel Colors That Scream
You scream I scream, we all scream for ice cream, but when it’s time to choose an outfit, find the ones whose colors also scream. Pastel rose, nudes, lilacs, and light blues are just some of the “OMG” colors of the moment. They’re trending hard for a good reason… they look good on everyone!

Tips For Choosing The Perfect Dress – Flowy Comfy Dresses Are The Best For Tea Parties
When you’re getting ready to have a fun night in the yard, or a colorful tea party the last thing you want is for your dress to restrict you. Imagine climbing up a slide, having to always cover your bottom. Not in my book! Style and comfort should always come first, so pick a dress that’s beautiful, but also flowy enough to allow you to get a little tomboyish if the situation calls for it.
Tips For Choosing The Perfect Dress – A Line Dresses Are For Modern Day Princesses
I want to look on point, stylish, but not sacrifice comfort, so A-line dresses are my new BFF. Celebrate the summer with a bang by finding a cotton A-line dress that allows you to breathe and move in it. Sure, you want to look on point, but is it really worth it if that means you won’t get to run around and play ball? Didn’t think so.
Tips For Choosing The Perfect Dress – Pick Whatever Floats Your Boat
When it comes to fashion, the sky’s the limit. Don’t be afraid to have fun, let loose, and choose dresses you actually like, even though tutus and cowboy dresses really don’t match. Let your inner creative diva out and come up with a stunning outfit that will have everyone spitting their tea in awe.

What a wonderful young lady you are, the outfit choices are lovely! My Niece is almost seven and we can never get her into a dress but that’s ok, everyone must dress in what makes them comfortable. I’ll book mark your blog so I can show her your baking adventures 🙂

Thye are all cute. I like the blue print with the yellow cardigan. I always wore dresses. My Mun made matching panties so I could tuck the hem of my dress into the legs so I could hang upside down in the trees

Bookmarked and saved to show my daughter who is also 8. She is going to love this. And I’ll be happy to have her looking at this site rather than the gossip sights for tips on how to dress. What better way for a 8 year to look at fashion, travel and recipes than form another 8 year old. I’m glad that I stumbled upon this. I’m so excited to show her this when she gets home from school today.
